I grew up in the Philadelphia suburbs and graduated from Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration. I played under former Carolina Panther head coach George Seifert while at Cornell, then went on to play professional baseball for 5 years in the Yankees and Expos (now Nationals) organizations, as a pitcher. I even threw a no-hitter in their minors. I never made it to the bigs, but, I'm glad I gave it a chance. I was once reminded that your reach should always exceed your grasp and I've lived my life that way. From there, I went on to help teach autistic kids and participate in some very successful new technology start-ups where many hats were worn and lots of great experience was accumulated. Today, the aircraft, automotive, medical, computer, and consumer industries benefit greatly from those technologies.

The one consistent thread in all of those challenging endeavors was the genuine passion to differentiate myself because I truly believed in the technology or service I was providing. That passion provided the client with exactly what they expected, as I communicated to them in terms they understood. A natural prerequisite in all cases was the desire to exceed all of their expectations for customer service. My passion in real estate is no different — I truly love looking for the perfect house. Having gone through the process of buying and selling a home several times, I've learned to understand what it feels like to be in your shoes. I want someone I can trust, who will look out for me, who knows the area, and who will instinctively go the extra mile for me. Though technology is overwhelmingly productive in real estate today, I believe nothing replaces the personal touch and countless little things that make all the difference in building successful relationships.

My family life has been blessed with 4 wonderful children, grandchildren, and a beautiful wife who works in Fort Mill. Our youngest son is currently studying musical theater at Pace University in New York City. Our daughter, a graduate of Syracuse, is an accomplished post production executive and professional photographer just relocated from LA. Our other 2 sons are officers in the US Navy after graduating from the United States Naval Academy.
