Along with the park, residents get to enjoy easy access to the Sea Life Charlotte-Concord Aquarium. While this may not be outside, it does give you a look at outdoor creatures, such as stingrays, sharks, jellyfish, and more.

If you enjoy local beer and wine, Concord has what you're looking for. High Branch Brewing Company opened in 2015 and provides great Belgian beers, while Commoners Brewing Company offers sours, ales, lagers, stouts, IPAs, and more. Even Twenty-Six Acres is found here with plenty of great beers to enjoy.

Cougar Run Winery is a great choice and known as one of the best in the state. It's the only winery found in Concord, but you really don't need anything else. They provide red wines, dessert wines, ciders, and much more. You'll even find a wine ice cream here.
